so no, you will use this phrase to ask the price of an item specifically.

To say -

How much do I owe you? = Combien est-ce que je vous dois ?

Hi Adriana,

Something like "ça fait combien que je vous dois ?" might be better French, although perhaps a bit formal.

Although "combien ça coute" probably would be understood.

Let's see what a staff expert can comment?
