En versus de
This question relates to:French lesson "Compound nouns formed with prepositions à/de/en in French"

Bonjour Eva,
When you wish to express that something is made of [a material], you can use either "en" or "à".
une robe de/en satin = a satin dress
-> i.e. made of satin
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !
