In the phrase, "Enfin, après vous être imprégnés de tous les paysages somptueux,", I don't understand how "vous être imprégnés" using the infinitive in the French corresponds to the English translation, "after soaking up". Is "être" a typo where "êtes" should have been used instead?

It is not always possible to translate directly from English to French.
I assume the verb being used here is s'imprégner and if I am correct then the past infinitive will be s'être imprégné (or imprégnés using vous). This is quite a normal usage after the preposition après.

To supplement Jim's answer, here are a few examples with 'après + past infinitive':

Après avoir fait la vaisselle ... = After doing the dishes ...
Après vous avoir téléphoné ... = After calling you, ... (no -s at 'téléphoné' as 'vous' is an indirect object)
