The question was “ tell your friends, don’t sit down!” Shouldn’t we use the tu form not the vous form in this case?

Hi Deb,
The sentence refers to 'friends' i.e plural so we have to use the 'vous' form here. Whilst 'tu' is used informally, it is also only singular.
