If I want to say, "I hope that you are fine" in French, can I say, " J'espère que tu sois bien?"

Hi Feyisayo,

Two points:

1. espérer que in the affirmative doesn't take the subjunctive

2. to be fine, to be ok, to be well,  use the verb aller

so

I hope you are fine

will be

J'espère que tu vas bien

Hope this helps!

Oh! Okay. Now I understand. Thanks for the answer, Cecile.
