In the writing challenge, the translation from english was, I would never have imagined that which I followed with the subjunctive but the correct ans

was the conditional. Why? If croire in the negative uses the subjonctive, why not would not have imagined?

Actually, in this case, both Le Subjonctif and Le Conditionnel are correct in French :)

Thanks to you, I've now added the Subjonctif options to the test.

Merci! Ces exams m'aide beaucoup, mais il y a beaucoup de circonstances où il me semble qu'il y aurait autre méthodes de dire les chose. Le problème c'est q'on n'est jamais sûr!

We try to be as thorough as possible, but obviously language is a living thing, and as you wrote, there are often many ways to express one idea :)
