I think I understand the basic concept here. Is there an easy way to remember which verbs are followed by à? The list is VERY long.

Indirect Object Pronouns
This question relates to:French lesson "Using lui/leur = him or her/them (French Indirect Object Pronouns)"
Asked 3 months ago
Hello E. M.,
I am afraid there isn't but it is a good idea to learn the verbs which are followed by a preposition to learn them as such and to practice them with examples of sentences -
téléphoner à quelqu'un -----> J'ai téléphoné à Martine hier ( I phoned Martine yesterday)
demander à quelqu'un -----> J'ai demandé à Xavier de me rappeler ( I have asked Xavier to call me back)
I am also wondering whether you have found our lists of verbs followed by à or de?
Here is one -

Hope this helps!
