-cer verbs become ç before -ons
Is there any exceptions？
In the case of verbs ending in -cer like, lancer, placer, menacer, the cedilla will be added before the vowels -a and -o to get the required -ss sound. If not there it is a hard K sound,
Nous plaçons (present) but nous placions ( imperfect)
il lançait ( imperfect) but nous lancerons ( future)
Hope this helps!
Greetings, I am inserting the ç in exerçons but it does not seem to be captured when I submit. I have done this three times (in case it was my mistake but i received the same result in each case). Thank you
Is this a new problem or are you having problems typing accents and the like?
