It's a bit weird

In the first paragraph "Santa claus " is used instead of Pere noel. Can we use santa claus in french as well??

Bonjour Hamza,

I see your point. Here, the journalist is simply choosing to refer to how you call Father Christmas in the US, i.e. Santa Claus. You wouldn't tend to use the term Santa Claus in France usually. Most of the time, it's Père Noël

Just to confirm the continued existence of the Post Office at Libourne.

We have a nephew who lives in a commune in the Gironde, 17 km from Libourne, which is on the way the St Émilion just a further 6 km away, so have driven past it many times. 

It is known across the whole of France and receives and responds to lots of mail from children, snail and modern, every year. 

I swear there were reindeers in the parking lot very early, one very foggy December morning when we went past !
