J'appellerai mon agent de voyage demain

I thought that "Je vais appeller mon agent de voyage demain" would convey a more immediate sense of will call v/s "J'appellerai ...". Or is it the "demain" that makes it more correct to use the Futur mode?

Hi Vimal,

Just a straight translation of the English 'I will call my travel agent tomorrow', and not 'I am going to call my estate agent tomorrow'.

Bonne Continuation !

Bonjour Vimal,

Yes! I think you have already made your own point.

"I will call my travel agent tomorrow" --> Future  (Text copied and pasted from the lesson)

I am going to call ... --> Near future. But you would need to be quite clear about when the next day. If you were to define a short period within the following 24 hours (say, first thing in the morning for example) then "I am going to call as soon as they are open for business" could make sense in a near future scenario.

Bonne journeé

Jim
