I was under the understanding that we don't use the ne explétif with "sans que" unless the rest of the sentence is in the negative. Is the above sentence in this lesson a mistake or did I misunderstand the lesson on sans que?
Je suis entré dans le salon sans que tu ne me voies.

Well spotted! I have discussed this with Aurélie ( it is one of those errors that confuse French people too!) and she has corrected the example in line with the other lesson you mention.

The rules about use of the ne eplétif are a bit fluid. Think of them more as guidelines than hard and fast rules.
