I am a beginner who wants to learn how to speak french well. What do you think is the best way to start?

Watch BDs ( bandes dessinées) for children to hear spoken French. The characters usually speak in simple sentences. For example, Caillou en français. It's a series about a little boy named Caillou. There is also an English version, but you should be able to find the French one on youtube.
