In this song, divin enfant is pronounced as if it were divine enfant. When is the liaison sounded in other adjective-noun groups?
Reading B1, Film & TV, Celebrations & Important Dates, Listening or Seeing B1
The word 'divin' is indeed pronounced 'divine'.
This can happen in lyrics accompanied by music for euphony.
This happens in English hymns too when some words ending in 'ed' are pronounced differently from the spoken word. Can't think of an example right now, but it always surprised me when I used to sing in n English choir.
Hope this helps!
Merci, pour la video de Noel. C'est tres belle. Encore, merci de l'avoir envoye
