Anique asked a question 12 months ago on this - I think the point of raising it was that although it can be deduced (or guessed) from the lesson, there is no reference or example in the lesson that covers 'la douzaine' or similar, other than 'etc' at the end of the title. It would be worth adding a line or two to cover this in the topic.
Bonjour Maarten !
Thanks to your feedback, we've now added an example covering "la douzaine" in our lesson. We've also improved the related question :)
Merci et bonne journée !
There are relatively few items that you would buy by the dozen and not the weight -
une douzaine d'œufs = a dozen eggs
une douzaine d'escargots = 12 snails
une douzaine d'huîtres = a dozen oysters
une douzaine de roses = 12 roses
Thanks for response - I know that douzaine is not a common 'measure - but it misses the point that this is not at all referenced in the lesson, but comes up in the quizzes. As it has previously resulted in questions, it would seem a simple solution to add a single line in the lesson covering it.
