I'm having a terrible time with pronunciation of these verbs. Google translate doesn't pick it up well even when I play clips of the native speakers. Any suggestions?

If you know how to pronounce the word 'œil', it is the sound in the middle of the word 'cueillir'
c-œil- ir
If you search for -
comment prononcer le mot cueillir ?
you should find some additional audio.
