For the translation of 'thin, clean' does it matter which order the adjectives appear in French ?

Hi Tom,
I don't think there is a specific rule for this but often it is stylistic, as it sounds better just like this example -
un linge propre et fin
rather than
un linge fin et propre
and the emphasis being on the 'clean' I think too.
