Qui at the end...

For answer to "She sees Paul. -Whom does she see? : Elle voit Paul. -___?", I wrote "Elle voit qui?" as it was marked as "nearly correct." According to the lesson, it indicates that both "Qui est-ce qu'elle voit?" and "Elle voit qui?" are equivalent. So why was "Elle voit qui?" marked as only partially correct? Thanks!

Hi Dennis,

It is best to address this query via your Report It button on your correction board, as it will link directly to the quiz.

As it stands I can't see what the problem is.

Hi Dennis,

Thank you for getting back and explaining what happened.

I have no access to your answers so can only make general comments but it sounds as though you worked it out yourself.

Bonne Continuation!

Elle voit qui is correct. Maybe you had a typo in your answer?

Bonjour Cécile,

I did use the "Report This" button on the correction board to post my question. Then, the next day, I receive this email:

I'm afraid I'm not a French expert but if you post this question in the Q&A on the lesson here:
https://progress.lawlessfrench.com/my-languages/french/tests/results/6527606/system/173903?quick-lesson-popup=1
(Click on the 'Discuss this lesson' button and a chart like this where you can post your question will appear:)

then one of our French experts or a community member will be able to answer very quickly.
Merci et à bientôt !

I followed the instructions in this email and posted my question via the "Discuss this lesson" button.

Am I not doing this correctly?

Thanks,

Dennis

Bonjour Chris,

Thanks for your response. I rechecked and looked at my response. I typed: Elle voit qui?

And I think you're right. I added in the question mark, and that's why it was marked incorrectly, because the prompt already had the question mark:   She sees Paul. -Whom does she see? : Elle voit Paul. -___?
