song: "Quand j'étais petit"

When I get an exercise starting with "Quand j'étais petit" I always think of the song by the same name by Ultra Vomit, a French comedy-metal band. I didn't even know comedy-metal was a genre before I heard them!

When I hear 'Quand j'étais petit' I too want to sing ... je n'étais pas grand...  but I am not familliar with Ultra Vomit's version.
They seem to have taken their inspiration from a well-known children's song which can be very naughty but that we loved at primary school and sang out of ear shots of our parents!

I hope you don't mind if I ask about another one of their songs: "Boulangerie Patisserie". To me it's just a silly song about kids going to a boulangerie-patisserie after school, but is there some other joke here that I'm not getting?
