Sound of 'Sinon'

Question

I don't have the best ears but I don't really hear the first syllable of 'Sinon'.  I just hear the second syllable, i.e. 'non'.  If I were a little more experienced, I could have guessed 'Sinon' because 'non' makes no sense.  Anyone else with the same issue?

Like G, I can hear the 'si' from 'sinon'. Changing to a different browser is a good advice too.

I can hear the 'si' part ..... just. But in the past I have had issues where the very start of the recording is cut-off in the second and third listenings. In other words, I hit the play button for the first listen and can hear the entire sentence clearly. When I listen a second, third or fourth time etc. the sentence is clipped at the start. I also had issues with the play button not working unless I hit it in the exact right spot....very strange. I changed to a different browser (from Safari to Chrome) and it was no longer a problem.

I heard only "non." No "si."  Apparently this is a problem with the recording or browser, not something related to French pronunciation.

I have this “first syllable clipping” issue too. It occurs on about 10% of the sentences. “Reloading” the web-page always solves it, but this is a cumbersome solution, and if the clipping falls “cleanly” then it’s not obvious that a reload is even needed.
