I agree, it sounded like "veau" to me but could only be "vont" given the context of the rest of the sentence.

Hi Mike,

I have listened to the segment again and 'vont' is pronounced properly.

The nasal sound 'on' is subtle, and I am just wondering whether you are expecting to hear the -n more accentuated which would be incorrect.
