Use of "de" after adverbs of quantity

Is there a lesson on using articles after combien, beaucoup, peu etc?

For general statements, the article is omitted after specifying quantities. Note that the quantity "nothing" is also treated as a quantity like all others.

Il y a déjà des pommes? -- Are there (some) apples?
Oui, il y a beaucoup de pommes. -- Yes, there are a lot of apples.
Non, il n'y a pas de pommes. -- No, there are no apples.

Bonjour David,

At the moment, there isn't a lesson on this topic. We've noted your excellent suggestion and we'll add it to the list. ;-)

Merci et bonne journée !
