Hi M O,
You can also say -
Le temps/le ciel est nuageux aujourd’hui = The weather/ the sky is cloudy today
But not ‘c’est nuageux‘ il will be ‘il fait nuageux’ as Chris said, for ‘It’s cloudy’.
