Hi Kaira, 

Le temps is used for the word weather -

Quel temps fait-il aujourd'hui? = What's the weather like today?

La météo is either the Met Office or the weather forecast -

Que dit la météo aujourd'hui? = What is the weather forecast for today, lit - What does the Met office say for today?
