La prochaine semaine means "the following week" as in a series of weeks one after the other in an abstract sense
La semaine prochaine means "next week" in a concrete descriptive sense.
Why do we say à la semaine prochaine, but we say prochaine juin? Why does prochain come after “week” but before a certain month?
