Would like to clarify the translation

Bonjour Madame !

A sentence reads -

C’est un homme courageux. Oui-c’est une femme courageuse.

He is a courageous man. Yes-it is a courageous woman. 

Should it not be ‘she is’ ? Thanks for your feedback !
