Why Il/Elle is not used for McDonald when it is specific

Le McDo, c'est bien pour les dimanches soirs paresseux, pas pour le jour de l'Amoooouuuur !McDonald's, it's good for lazy Sunday evenings, not for the day of Luuuurve!
Here we are talking specifically about Mc Donald then why Il /Elle is not used

Bonjour Kashmira,

Here, the sentence is expressing an opinion referring to a general thing/conceptrather than referring to a specific item/object/thing.

Le McDo de Paris?  Il est super ! Paris' McDonald's? It is great!
Le McDo, c'est bon pour les dimanches soirs paresseux ! McDonald's, it's good for lazy Sunday evenings!

Take a look here:

"C'est" vs "Il/Elle est" to say it is/she is/he is in French

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !
