Dear team I am wondering why "envie de danser" is used instead of "vouloir danser" to mean want to dance. Thank you again !
Hi Una,
The correct translation of,
to make someone want to do something
is
donner à quelqu'un envie de faire quelque chose
so therefore -
envie de danser is used rather than vouloir danser
