Hi Manpreet kaur,

Because the English text is -

I usually sit down in a corner and I enjoy the familiar scene.

and not 

I play in a corner and enjoy...

P.s. note also the 'de' because the verb is 'se réjouir de quelque chose' ( to enjoy something)
