Hi, The question might not be completely relevant to this topic. While using direct and indirect object pronouns for them (les/leur) .We check whether a preposition is used to seperate the object to decide whether it's direct or indirect. But how do we know when to use a preposition (for eg- "a parle" (so we use leur), for "conduire" we don't use a preposition (so it becomes les)).

I see no difference between "he only ate sweets" and "he ate sweets only". I have only encountered " que" after the past participle before the object

Frequently I encounter French people who use "que" on its own.

Regarding the question « I am going to Lucie’s house « from the lesson and the video included in the lesson, I understand chez to mean home and maisonand maison to mean house. So why is my answer nous avons à la maison incorrect in the test? The answer was chez in the test
