Why 'salle de bains', shouldn't it be 'salle à bains'According to this lesson, for translation of bathroom/washroom, a room for baths. So it should be 'salle à bains', but why do we use 'salle de bains'

Accents on u in "eûmes" and "eûtes"According to the spelling reform accents on u and i should be dropped unless needed to distinguish words. You do not seem to apply the reform.

Specific dayWhy would the day of birth be à la? I understand from the text that a la is generally ´the day' and le jour de is a specific day. On the question Laurent est né ________ Saint-Patrick, the answer is contradictory. Please help clarify.
