confused...How is it I'm answering questions correctly and my score is going down?

Use of "en" I don't really understand why "en" is used in this example, even after having reviewed the lesson you mention. Where does "de" come into it? "If I had a house", for example, would be "Si j'avais une maison" - not "Si j'en avais une maison, surely? In this case, the use of "en" seems to be rather random!

Inserting a seemingly unneccessary definite articleIn a similar vein to my question below ( I don't know where to find the relevant grammar topic ), there are many places in french where it seems one must insert a definite article where it would be omitted in English-- here are a couple of examples: "Il y a même des alcools spéciaux en France qui sont synonymes de l'apéritif comme le Pineau, le Muscadet que l’on sert avec une liqueur de fruit. " "Vous serrez la main que l'on vous tend." Why can't you say "qu'on sert"," qu'on vous tend" ?

"Le nombre ( de bises) le plus répandu, c'est 2. Why do you need the c' here. Why not just "le nombre est 2?"

En pleine ville, en plein Paris ?Why is the masculine form "plein" used for Paris even though ville is feminine. Is "plein" used for all cities ?

Forms in l'impératif Why do some verbs conjugate in the il/elle form if the lesson says there can only be tu/nous/vous? Example Donne-lui, Regarde-le etc. I am confused.
