position of 2 adjectives describing same nounSentence: I have three pretty (noun): Do I write both French adjectives together, before the noun, please? One is a number (trois) and the other is about beauty (jolis/jolies)= BANGS rule, which ordinarily means that each of these adjectives goes before the noun when on their own; but do they still go before the noun when there are two adjectives, please? J'ai trois jolis fleurs: correct? incorrect? Cheryl

Passé antérieur and participleI'm having no luck translating the form, 'il eut heu'. I've run across it (or variations) three times now. It looks like a verb in the passé antérieur but none of the language reference tools I've checked recognise the participle 'heu'. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why was "sa" used here? It is the only example of "sa".Il faut toujours avoir sa carte sur soi.

Why is Lui used in the following sentence? I don't understand the use of lui rather than il in this sentence. Paul est mon meilleur ami. Lui, seul comprend mes problèmes.

Aren't some of the answers to question 1 ambiguous with regard to their correctness? I understand that "Vous pouvez prendre tout ce qu'est sur la table" is the answer to question 1 because it should be using "ce qui" instead of "ce que." But aren't the other questions which use "tout" also possibly incorrect. For example, in "Tout ce qu'il fait m'agace," wouldn't this be incorrect if "tout" was being used as a noun instead of a pronoun? In such case, the "ce" should be dropped to be correct.
