Les cloches sont passées Les cloches sont passées ce matin pour apporter les œufs de Pâques. The bells passed this morning to bring the Easter eggs. HINT: (In France, it's bells that bring the Easter eggs, not a bunny!) Is this expression idiomatic as the rules above dont seem to apply or have I missed something? Thanks.

Elles (les chauve-souris) ne volent que la nuitI look for a proposition like à or dans la nuit. Have you any general tips on why and where french does not need a preposition in cases like this?

This week's A2 writing challengeThis week's A2 writing challenge asked us to translate "I don't feel my legs anymore." The answer given was: "Je ne sens plus mes jambes." I was so proud to remember NOT to use the possessive pronoun in such cases and translated the sentence as: "...les jambes." Why am I wrong???? Thanks, -- Chris.

Weekend writing challenge: Level A2: Hi Viviane! How are you feeling today?Hi Kwizik Team, I read the related lesson on using the definite articles with body parts, so I'm wondering why one of the sentences in this writing challenge has the definite article, but the other sentence has the possessive adjective? e.g. : Correct answer: VIVIANE: Je ne sens plus mes jambes, Correct answer: j’ai des crampes dans les épaules, Why not write "les" for both "jambes" & "épaules" ?
