I know that it means "himself" or something like that, but it can not be a pronoms tiniques because :
moi=me
toi=you
lui=him
elle=her
nous=us
vous=you
eux=them
elles=them
So clearly for il we use lui not soi !
why do we use "lui" here in the sentence?
