when I have a look at the meaning of "hier soir"; it is translated into french as last night and yesterday evening. doesn't hier nuit used to say last night?

Hi. For the sentence, "Il veut que j'aille acheter du lait." can it be substituted for "il me veut aller acheter du lait" ? Or is this sentence incorrect?

I have to say I start to sweat when this question shows up on my tests, because I will ALWAYS get it wrong.  I have read the lesson over and over and it seems like I will decided that I should use c'est because there is a determiner, but then it tells me to use elle or il.  Then I use il or elle because there isn't a determiner and it will tell me to use c'est.  I feel like all the lessons help me, and I see my mistakes, but this one is not helping me.  Any other way to explain this to me?

Why don't you use the article "un" with demi-tour?  I was marked wrong for that.

For the phrase « he only ate sweets » the  was given as « il n’a que mangé… » . Why isn’t it « il n’a mangé que… »?

How to use negation with futur proche?

HI was wondering when I took the test the sentence un orgre grand comme un maison was said to be correct but, I thought grand would go before ogre.
