Can we also translate it as ' Il ne me restait qu'une ambition ' ?

This lesson is in my notebook so I'm in an endless loop here. I would like to do the kwiz for just this lesson. Seems like a coding problem. Apologies if this is the wrong place to report it.
The answer choice inlcudes 'Aurelie only went to the market - and nowhere else' and 'Aurelie went to the market - and did nothing else'. Can you please explain why these sentences mean different things? Aurelie only went to the market. End of, surely?
'N'y va pas' is translated as 'Don't go there', and ' Don't go anywhere' is marked wrong. Yet 'On y va' means 'Let's go' The 'there' is implicit. Surely 'N'y va pas' is the negative of 'On y va'? so ought to be translated as 'Don't go'. In English the 'there' makes it too definite, you would have to have a destination in mind, rather than just leaving somewhere. 'Anywhere' is a better translation, surely?
I was wondering as I am understanding adjectives. I'm confused on extrêmement! There was a sentence in my book that saying un extrêmement vieux livre but it was marked wrong when I put extrêmement at the end of the noun live. Why is that wrong?
