For states which preposition do we use?  For example to say I live in Michigan would it be:

J'habite à Michigan ou J'habite au Michigan.

for the sentence - someone told me that you still loved me.

would you not say - someone told me that you still love me (present tense)?

Quelqu'un m'a dit que tu m'aimes encore.

for the sentence - someone told me that you still loved me.

Can somebody please explaine me the difference between 

échauffer

rechauffer

and chauffer

I have a question. I am working on this sentence. Elle menace de partir for the present tense. 

 I was wondering why they use de partir instead of  à meaning to leave.
