Is there a reason for the negative form being different? And if so, why doesn't it apply with the verb etre? Is it to do with tangible and intangible objects, as in, if I drink beer I am drinking THIS beer in my glass whereas if I don't drink beer, this refers to beer in general?

Shouldn’t this be written as Elle pourrait voir son petit-fils?

I notice fait maison does not agree with the feminine noun. Is it a fixed expression?

Gagnant- gagnant . C’est parce-ce qu’il y a deux mots gagnants qui suivent le mot solution?

Si on a une solution gagnante? Ici on doit faire accorder gagnant? 

Tu veux venir à la piscine ? Oui, je le veux. 

Why not?

What's the rationale for using 'jeunes maries' (sorry, doesn't do accent in the boxes) and not 'nouveaux maries' here? 

"Je vais vous envoyer l'adrésse de mon site web" and "Je vous enverrai l'adrésse de mon site web" both should be correct I think, but the program marks the former as wrong. 

My husband, who speaks French fluently, observed me agonizing over this en, dans, à, feminine / masculine countries, states, regions and cities and he laughed. He asked why I’m wasting my time memorizing trivia that won’t make a difference when it comes to having a conversation with a French person. He says nobody except a French teacher would give a rat’s ass if I made this mistake. It doesn’t prevent understanding or communicating.

The fact that I can’t advance to other lessons that will further my ability to communicate,  until I get this glitchy thing memorized, is very frustrating. It makes me afraid to even try to speak, for fear of making this kind of mistake.
