FYI: I believe "vrai(e)" should be included in this lesson.
Hi! In the following question related to this lesson, why the word "dernière" is after the word "semaine", but the same does not apply with "dernier jour"?
He arrived the last day of last week. : Il est arrivé le dernier jour de la semaine ___.Many thanks
Bonjour
In the fill in the blanks exercise working futur proche
1. je vais retrouver Julien et Sophie dans le centre-ville.
Why is: je vais rencontrer incorrect?
2. When I read in English will be I wrote sera. I should have known better because what is being tested is futur proche and va etre should have been my response; but I would like to know if it could be considered correct, understandable, from a native speakers standpoint.
Merci
brosse should have an s at the end when you say I brushed them
Can you simply move an adjective before a noun and then use 'de'? Or does using 'de' before the adjective only occur when using an adjective that actually goes before the noun?
i.e. Can we say "the white houses" either way? des maisons blanches or de blanches maisons
et j'espère vraiment qu'il SOIT heureux !
Thank you
Mon ordinateur ne march pas bien. Il a saute quelque pages et je ne le peut pas renverse pour les completer. Je voudrai repeter l'exercise du debut, et ne pas registrer les resultes de cet examen. Merci pour votre consideration et aide.
In this example of passive voice for se faire gronder why does faite end in e? I thought fait was invariable when a past participle following a feminine/ plural direct object with avoir or following être as in this case.
I found the phrases and vocabulary used in this activity to be extremely difficult! I didn't feel ready for this level of translation at all. There is often quite a disparity between the level of language used in the Study Plan lessons (very simple) versus these dictation activities (much more complex). I would love to have more learning in the Study Plan that would support this level of language complexity.
