Are you marking down for lack of full stops?

Question

I am unable to see why I should have scored only 5 out of 60 in this exercise, unless you expect me to guess where full stops, commas and exclamation marks go.  This is impossible to know when only short excerpts are given by actors with slow, flat voices!

Bonjour Claire,
As N. Hilary explained, this type of exercise is self-marking. Therefore, even if Kwizbot's corrections/alternatives do highlight the punctuation, you shouldn't mark yourself down. Also, with the star system of marking, you might opt not to mark your results, in which case, you will not be awarded any point ; or, you might choose to mark yourself, in which case, concentrate on the language content first and foremost (and ignore Kwizbot's marking of your punctuation).
The intricacies of French punctuation will come bit by bit the more you read the language and the more practice you get. I have to say that I still struggle a little with English punctuation from time to time. ;-)

This exercise is self graded. Since it is often difficult to know what the punctuation is, I wouldn't worry about it if yours doesn't match. Hope this helps.Bonne continuation.
