Hello,
I just started B2 and I had a hard time understanding a lot of this. I'm wondering if I should go back to a B1 level for awhile. Please let me know whether this is normal.
Thank you

Bonjour James,
Chris's advice is great! Going from one level to the next can be tricky sometimes. I would advise you to keep going for now. Bit by bit you will make progress and over time you will find certain structures/grammar points easier and easier to navigate.
Working on your Listening skills is key when moving up a level. So, keep listening to B2 exercises but also keep doing B1 exercises.
With a new level, the speed of recordings is faster and the structures aren't as well "pronounced" as for A1-B1 exercises. So, here's what I advise my own students, listen to the B2 exercises several times (as many times as you feel you need to) before starting the exercise. Then, listen a few more times and take some notes of the vocabulary you hear (what you think is important) and start the exercise. Here are the Kwiziq Listening exercises:
Also, one thing that has always helped me when learning a foreign language is listening to radio showsand watching TV/films in the foreign language along with the subtitles. Doing this, a few times a week made the world of difference for me.

I hope this is helpful !
Bonne journée !
The kwizbot mixes new lessons in with the old ones. The new lessons might broach more challenging subjects, though. In general, however, I found that you'll pick it up eventually. Just give yourself some time.
