In the lesson above the audio for “On veut qu'il sache ce qu'on ressent.”. Sounds out the “ent” part of “ressent”. I was expecting to hear just “resse”. Could you comment?

Pronunciation of “on ressent”
This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate savoir in the subjunctive present in French (Le Subjonctif Présent)"
Asked 3 years ago

Hi Brian,
The pronunciation of 'ressent' is correct ( sounds like ressant) . The verb is 'ressentir' ( to feel) and the conjugation in the present tense is -
je ressens
tu ressens
il/elle/on ressent
nous ressentons
vous ressentez
ils/elles ressentent
on ressent is the third person singular
Hope this help!

The -ent in ressent is pronounced without the trailing -t, just like you would pronounce en by itself: ress-en (t)
