“QUENTIN: When do we get there?”

“QUENTIN: When do we get there?”

For these three answers, does “there” not need to be explicitly included, maybe with a “y”, such as “QUENTIN : Quand est-ce qu'on y arrive ?” Same question for “We'll get there when we get there!”.

Bonjour Brian,

'y' doesn't need to be included in these sentences, in this context (getting somewhere / to a place).

Attention: 'y arriver' = to make it - 'having a goal'

Tu peux y arriver = you can make it

Il va y arriver petit à petit he'll get there bit by bit

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !
