Hi. Twice I've been marked wrong when I omitted the "heures" when filling in the blanks for a library or such open from one hour to another. It appears that the computer isn't recognizing the section of the lesson ("between to times"). Why? Very confusing.
Question about not using "heures" when "on the dot" (your quotation mark)

Question about not using "heures" when "on the dot" (your quotation mark)
Hi Valerie,
Please use the Report it button on your correction board so that someone can access what you actually wrote and look for discrepancies.
This is not possible from this Q&A forum.

I'm not sure I understand completely what you mean. According to the lesson, heures is used in a full and complete sentence like this:
Je travaille de 9 heures à 5 heures. -- I work from 9 o'clock to 5 o'clock.
It is also possible to shorten this sentence to:
Je travaille de 9 à 5 heures. In this case, heures is only mentioned once. However, this is only possible for full hours. It wouldn't work in the case that you started work at 8:30. Maybe that's the explanation of the discrepancy?
Je travaille de huit heures et demie à 5 heures.
I agree. It states that the first heures can be omitted with "on the dot times". The store will be closed between "duex et deux heures et demi" was marked wrong. That's about as on the dot as you can get.
