Is there any kind of rule to this sequencing?

autobiographical feminist manifesto = a feminist manifesto, which is autobiographical. In French this reads as: manifeste féministe autobiographique.
unforgettable literary experience = a literary experience, which is unforgettable: expérience litteraire inoubliable.
