Hi Emma,

The adverb 'super' ( meaning extremely, very) is now being used in a familiar manner as an adjective so from a sentence like -

Ces amis sont super gentils = These friends are super cool

it has become -

Ces amis sont super! = These friends are great!

The adjective 'superbe' means superb -

Cette maison est super, elle est pleine de superbes antiquitésThis house is great, it is full of superb antiques
