Are the following 2 phrases both correct: Une aventure à laquelle elle ne pouvait pas résister .....and: une aventure qu'elle n'y pouvait pas résister?

« can one say "pour y parvenir" to equate with "pour en arriver là?" If not why?Please- why is 'voulu' changed in gender and number using 'avoir' ? I thought that only happened with 'être'. »
