Vous voulez vs Voulez-vous

Hello! Is there a difference between "Vous voulez une glace?" and "Voulez-vous une glace?" I thought that questions had to be done with inversions. Thank you!

Hi Daniel,

Take a look at the following Kwiziq lesson which will give you the most common way of asking questions in French -

There a several ways to form a question. Inversion is one of them. I believe there are lessons on that topic available.

The correct way of doing a question is either the inversion or est-ce que in front "Voulez-vous" is just faster to ask the question "Est-ce que vous voulez..." However, in most oral instances French natives will use the last way of doing a question that is basically giving a statement with raising your intonation at the end.
