Bad hint?In today's A2 writing exercise: https://progress.lawlessfrench.com/my-languages/french/exercises/overview/160?utm_source=blk&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=msg_448551You give the hint: Use "faire la connaissance de" = to get acquainted with. But it is counted wrong. I wrote "et ses griffes ont deja fait la connaissance de notre canape. And "la" and "de" are crossed out and "de" replaced with "avec". -- Either the hint is wrong, our the correction is wrong. N'est-ce pas?

Ma voiture ancienne I wrote: "I believe ma voiture ancienne" means my OLD car and NOT my former car, but was got the answer marked wrong and said it was my "former car". There's a glitch here with the marking of this question surely???

why autant que when "chante" is a verb?Why is "autant que" use with the verb action of "chante," when "aussi que" is used with the verb action of "nage" in a different example? Both are verbs.

Can I use this construction with an infinitive as the "object" of the liking?I know how to use aimer + infinitive to express liking. J'aime manger! Par exemple. How about Manger me plait? Probably not, but just wondering.

Bonjour,

In the examples on the right you say in number 4 on the second row:

C'est bientôt les vacances!
It's the holidays soon!

But in explaining the lesson you say:

Ce sont bientôt les vacances!
It's the holidays soon!

Which is correct?!
