Can 'aussi que' be used to mean "(included) as well as"?An example from lesson on comparative adverbs: Je chante aussi bien que ma tante. I sing as well as my aunt. Here, aussi que means as well as. In English, we can also say 'there are sandwiches as well as a cake', in which 'as well as' implies 'included as well as'. Cheryl

Hi, can we only use "pour+infinitive" in the present time, if an action is not happened yet?example: Je lui dire pour l'aider, or Il m'aide pour terminer ce travail plus vite.

How do you replace a noun with a preposition other than à or de please?Il faut que j’achète un cadeau pour son anniversaire. I must buy a present for his birthday. I know you can use the adverbial pronoun y to replace 'à + noun', and en to replace 'de + noun', but how would you replace 'pour son anniversaire' in the sentence above please? In order to make the sentence: I must buy a present for it? [Am i right in thinking this called replacing an object of a preposition with a pronoun?]
