Hello!

Would someone tell me the correct way to pronounce the following:

Je voudrais une verre de vin blanc.

I am trying to understand if I should push the "s" of voudrais into the "une".

Ils n'auraient jamais pu comprendre tes raisons"Ils n'auraient jamais pu comprendre tes raisons" and "Il n'aurait jamais pu comprendre tes raisons". Both sentences sound alike. How to differentiate and write correctly on dictation?

Few/SeveralWhat English dialect is Kwiziq based on? My sociolect most definitely does not contain this silly "few is slightly less than several". Few is the opposite of many, it is not in a scale with several. Several means more than one, although usually 3 or more. I get that you are looking for a way to separate out the feel of scale in the French words, but it just doesn't work.

Après-midi: Masculin ou feminin?Google translate says that the word après-midi is masculine, i.e. this afternoon = cet après-midi. But, when I enter "one afternoon", Google translate writes it as: "UNE après-midi", which sounds much better to me than "UN après-midi." Is there some rule about this , and does it apply to any other words in French? Or is Google translate making an error ?

Monté les escaliers Bonjour, According to my French teacher and on some websites, the correct way to say “You went up the stairs in silence.” is “Tu es monté les escaliers en silence.” as opposed to “Tu as monté les escaliers en silence.” Can you please clarify? Thanks!

While doing negation with 'de' , Hi Laura, I have a query negation with 'de'. I know that with être it stays the same and in case of IL y a and avoir un,une, des changes to de. What about other verbs than the ones mentioned. Does it apply in all cases ?I'd like to know please.
